Oman: A Huge Explosion Has Been Reported in Mabela Building

According to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), it has been reported that there is an explosion in a restaurant which is located in the southern Mabela area in the Wilayat of Seeb, in Muscat Governorate.

The explosion which took place in the restaurant led to the injury of at least 18 people, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) stated.

As reported by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA), at least 18 people were injured due to the explosion.

The search and rescue teams also added that there are hazardous materials incidents at the site which led to people getting injured.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) stated that the explosion impact was strong and felt by nearby residents, buildings and vehicles.
