Ramadan: Movement of Trucks Restricted on Some Roads in Oman

To reduce the chances of traffic congestion during Ramadan, Oman's authorities have decided to restrict the movement of trucks for certain times on specific roads. 

Movement of trucks will be restricted from Sunday to Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the holy month. 

The movement of these vehicles will be restricted on main roads in Muscat, Al Dakhiliyah Road (Muscat to Bidbid bridge), and Al Batinah Highway (Muscat to Shinas).

The Royal Oman Police has requested all truck drivers to comply with these regulations to maintain public safety and reduce traffic congestion during Ramadan.
