When Do Indian Schools in Oman Open Admissions for Next Academic Year?

Wondering when the doors to Indian Schools in the capital area will swing open for the next academic year? The answer is just around the corner! The eagerly awaited online registration for admission to Indian Schools for the academic year 2024-2025, catering to Classes KG I to IX, is set to kick off on January 21st, 2024.

This streamlined process is applicable to seven prominent Indian Schools in the capital area, including Indian School Bousher, Indian School Muscat, Indian School Darsait, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Indian School Al Ghubra, Indian School Al Seeb, and Indian School Al Maabela.

The Board of Directors at Indian Schools in Oman has embraced a centralized admission system with online registration, marking a significant shift in simplifying the admission procedure. According to Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools Oman, this digital approach not only facilitates the entire admission process but also ensures convenience for parents and schools alike.

The admission portal provides comprehensive information on admission procedures, vacancy status, and frequently asked questions, making it a user-friendly platform for parents in search of a place for their children in the school of their choice.

Parents seeking admission to the International Wings (Cambridge Syllabus) at Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir and Indian School Al Ghubra are encouraged to complete the online registration form for admissions.

Eligibility criteria for admissions specify that children of Indian nationality with a valid resident visa are eligible. For Kindergarten admission, children who have completed three years as of April 1 are considered eligible. Additionally, admissions for children with special needs are open at Care and Special Education (CSE), located on the Indian School Muscat premises. Parents can directly approach the CSE administration for admission details (www.cseoman.com).

In a digital age, admission procedures have been seamlessly transitioned online, eliminating the need for parents to physically visit the schools for remittance of admission processing fees.

The online registration window will close on February 24th, 2024, providing ample time for parents to secure spots for their children. For a more detailed understanding of the admission process, interested parents can visit www.indianschoolsoman.com.
