Oman Opens Online Registration for Hajj 2026 on This Date

If you’re in Oman and planning to join the 2026 Hajj, mark your calendars — online registration officially opens on September 23. Citizens and expatriates aged 18 and above can register through the official portal, www.hajj.om, until October 8. All you’ll need is your civil number, ID card, or a mobile linked to the national authentication system.

Registration ≠ Guaranteed Slot

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs made it clear: signing up doesn’t automatically secure your spot. The final list of pilgrims will be picked through an automated system, based on Oman’s quota from Saudi Arabia. If you make the cut, you’ll get a text message confirming your slot.

A full schedule, including deadlines for land and air travel, will be rolled out later. Officials also stressed that transparency is key — no side deals, no unauthorized service providers. If your application has errors, your slot could be canceled and passed on to the next eligible applicant.
