SalamAir Unveils New Summer Destination: Tirana, Albania

SalamAir, Oman's leading low-cost carrier, announces its latest expansion with the addition of Tirana, Albania, to its roster of European destinations for the upcoming summer season.

Captain Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Shethani, acting CEO of SalamAir, revealed plans to commence operations to Tirana in mid-June, offering two weekly flights to the vibrant capital city. Tirana, known for its moderate climate and rich cultural heritage, emerges as a sought-after tourist hotspot in Albania.

In addition to Tirana, SalamAir will reintroduce seasonal routes starting mid-June, connecting Muscat to Baku in Azerbaijan, Trabzon in Turkey, and Almaty in Kazakhstan.

Addressing the surge in demand for travel to Dhofar Governorate during the Khareef season, Captain Ahmed Al-Shethani announced increased flight frequencies, with four daily flights from Muscat to Salalah. Furthermore, Salalah will be linked to Sohar, along with new flights connecting Salalah to Fujairah in the UAE and Manama in Bahrain.

With a fleet comprising 13 modern Airbus A321neo and A320 aircraft, SalamAir ensures a comfortable and efficient travel experience for passengers. Enhancing customer convenience, the airline will soon launch updates to its mobile application, catering to the evolving needs and preferences of travelers.
