Every year on March 4th, World Obesity Day spreads awareness about the dangers of obesity with a different theme. For 2023, the theme will be 'Changing Perspectives: Let's Talk About Obesity.' Obesity is one of the most common health problems around the world and notably in Arab countries.

However, some countries have higher obesity rates than others. To help you get a broader perspective on obesity in the region we compiled a list of obesity rates the Middle East and North Africa countries, according to Global Obesity Observatory data.
